How to read these records

The license

One record per license. The TDLR numbers each license type separately, so the same number exists under several types: the reference here is a short code for the type, a dash, and the TDLR number (AC-12345, EL-12345).

Current or expired

A license is shown as current when its expiration date is on or after the date of the file. The file is published every few weeks: a license renewed since then still shows its old date.

Places

A/C contractor licenses carry a county but no street address in the file; they are listed under the county.

What is not here

Every individual licensee, owners' names, phone numbers, mailing addresses, complaints and enforcement actions.
